The Zen Bench is a customizable houseware item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. The player is able to sit on this item. The item's top surface can be used to place smaller items, such as miscellaneous furniture. As an outdoor item, it will provide an additional 0.5 development points towards the island rating.

The Zen Bench can be obtained from either Nook's Cranny for  2,800 Bells or the Paradise Planning office for  2,500 Poki. The item's cover color pattern can be customized either by using 1 Customization Kit or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells. When customizing the item's cover color pattern, the player can use one of Sable's patterns or their own custom designs.

No villagers have this item in their home.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Buzz, Canberra, Clay, Cranston, Genji, Gladys, Kabuki, Mitzi, Shino, Snake, Walt, Wart Jr., and Zucker. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the café and the restaurant.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Mitzi and Shino require this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home. This item is also required as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the café, as one of the chairs for the waiting area at the hospital, as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the restaurant, and as one of the chairs for the classroom at the school.

After unlocking this item in Happy Home Paradise, the item can be purchased from Wardell's catalog.
