"K.K. Hop" is a K.K. Slider song in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. The song is inspired by hip hop music, and its name is derived from the genre. Whereas "K.K. Break" is based upon the genre's origins in the 1970s, "K.K. Hop" derives from the genre's golden age, from 1986 to 1997, where songs began to incorporate more synthetic and sampled instrumentation while retaining their earlier influence from funk and soul music.

Album cover

The album cover for "K.K. Hop" is a pastiche of the wider hip-hop subculture as it existed during the genre's golden age. It depicts K.K. Slider in baggy casual wear associated with the subculture, listening to music on a pair of over-ear headphones; a large boombox sits in the background against a wall with "K.K. HIP HOP" graffitied onto it.
