The album cover for "K.K. Metal" depicts K.K. Slider in a desert, standing in front of a large electric guitar; the art may be a reference to the album Ride the Lightning by American heavy metal band Metallica, the cover of which features a similar logo, lightning, and purple cloudy sky. On the e-Reader card, the text at the top reads "Keke Metal" with the Japanese title below it. In New Leaf, "Keke" is replaced with "K.K." In New Horizons, the title now resembles Metallica's logo.

The aircheck version of the live performance can be obtained by speaking to Phyllis after scanning the card.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, "K.K. Metal" is played in the houses of Bella, Cyd, Drift, Groucho, Kyle, Leonardo, and Sprocket. The aircheck of this song can be obtained from one of these villagers after visiting their house by their favor. This song's aircheck can also be purchased in Nook Shopping daily selection for  3,200 Bells.
