Kicks (Japanese: Shoe Shank) is a shoe store, first introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and re-appearing as a pop-up shop in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
In New Leaf, the player is able to purchase shoes and other various footwear, socks, and stockings from the store's proprietor, Kicks. In order for the shoe store to open, the player must spend 8,000 Bells at the Able Sisters and must have lived within the town for 10 days. After requirements are met, the shop will begin construction and will be complete in three days. Inside the store, players can try on shoes, but not socks and stockings.
In Pocket Camp, Kicks makes an appearance as a pop-up shop in the Market Place. The player is able to purchase shoes, boots, and socks. Three items are on display at a time.
