Knox (キンカク, Kinkaku) is a cranky, chicken villager in the Animal Crossing series that only appeared in its latest installment, Animal Crossing: City Folk. Knox seems to be from medieval times, as his costume shows. He often causes fights with people with his cranky behavior. His name seems to be a play on Fort Knox, as his helmet is made of gold. Knox is one of the few villagers to wear headgear such as helmets.

Appearance

Knox is a chicken who is dressed as a knight from medieval times. He initially wears a Travel T shirt and is one of few villagers that wear headgear; a solid gold helmet. He has round eyes and gray feathers.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the personality cranky. For more information, click here.

The cranky characters can seem quite bitter and out-of-touch with social trends, making them generally unpopular with the peppy villagers; but sometimes are funny. They are all deep-voiced and many have frowns. They usually go to sleep at 5:00 am and wake up at 10:00 am each day. When trying to enter the house of a cranky person before they wake, you are greeted with an angry letter explaining that they are sleeping, "I'm catching some Z's right now, wake me and REGRET IT" which is an example of how easily irritated they can be. They usually spend half of the day in their houses, and half of the day out. Cranky villagers like Knox are considered male versions of snooty villagers.

House

Knox is known to have a medieval-themed room, as well as some cardboard boxes, a covered wagon, birdcage, and a bookshelf. He has kegs and barrels along with other brown objects.
