Koharu is a peppy kangaroo from the Animal Crossing series. Her only appearance is in Doubutsu no Mori e+, where she is an islander. Koharu's name may be derived from haru, which is Japanese for "spring." This word is also her catchphrase.
Characteristics
Appearance
Koharu is a yellow kangaroo with large black eyes and a bright red nose. Her muzzle and the tips of her paws are a cream color, and Koharu also has small, pink cheeks. The inside of her ears are a light purple.

Koharu is a peppy villager, acting over-excited and friendly to the player. While in conversation, Koharu will use words such as "totally!" and "sooooo," and will get along with many villagers, including jock and normal villagers. However, cranky villagers may spread rumors of Koharu at her expense, while snooty villagers will conflict with her lifestyle.
House
In Doubutsu no Mori e+, Koharu's house initially lacks any furniture, similar to all other islander houses. She will request from the player a Turntable, a Lovely Kitchen, a Green Table, a Green Bench, a Green Counter, a Refrigerator, a Stove, and a Coconut Palm, plus the Red Tile and Ornate Wall. They are the same items that Flossie requests, excluding the wallpaper and flooring.
