Louie (マッスル, Muscle) is a jock villager in the Animal Crossing series. His initial phrase, "toots" may refer to when a gorilla releases a series of flatulence bursts. In Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, he takes Yodel's catchphrase, "odelay".

Appearance

He is a brown ape who resembles Donkey Kong. His name and his initial shirt, little bro shirt, refers to Luigi, Mario's younger brother. He has a suprisingly feminine petal parasol on rainy days.

Louie has a jock personality, which means he will have a keen interest in sport and fitness, making him appear competitive and in some cases rude when talking to other villagers, usually criticizing their fitness. He will appear slow-witted and absent-minded when talking about deep, meaningful things. He will get along well with peppy villagers, but get confused by the choice of lifestyle followed by lazy villagers, who appear opposite to the jock personality. He may offend and upset snooty and cranky villagers.

House

Louie has gym equipment in his house, which matches his personality and lifestyle. He has no stereo, so therefore has no music in his house. This is because villagers in Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+ cannot change their furniture and other items present in their houses.

Louie's house in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo resembles a weight room. If he has a stereo, it will play K.K. Etude, which is a choice that does not appear to match his home theme.
