Louie is a jock gorilla villager in the Animal Crossing series. His initial phrase, "toots" may refer to when a gorilla releases a series of flatulence bursts. In Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, he takes Yodel's catchphrase, "odelay". In Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Louie was released as DLC in Happy Home Designer, from September 26th, 2015, when the player can get him at Nintendo Zones, and from October 6th, 2015, Nintendo distributed him through SpotPass.

He is a brown ape who resembles Donkey Kong. His name and his initial shirt, little bro shirt, refers to Luigi, Mario's younger brother. He has a surprisingly feminine petal parasol on rainy days.
