"Marine Song 2001" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is based on the tune Kapp'n sings in the original Japanese version of Doubutsu no Mori+, which was altered in all localized versions of Animal Crossing to a tune based more on western sea shanties. The number "2001" in the song's title alludes to the year that Doubutsu no Mori+ was released. The melody uses Kapp'n's vocals with newly added drums and shamisen backing.
