A Mii is a digital avatar that represents the player in various games. It is used on the Wii, the 3DS, and the Wii U. Although there is no Animal Crossing for the Wii U,thus players cannot do this. In the Mii Maker on the 3DS,you can transfer Mii characters from the WiiU to the 3DS,so you can on the 3DS but not on the WiiU
Animal Crossing: City Folk
A Mii mask is created using the Mii Channel on the Wii, and can be used as the player in multiple Wii games, most notably in Wii Sports, to represent the player, and the Miis can also be moved from system to system by downloading them, or by saving them on the Wii Remote and placing a copy on another Wii.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, in addition to modifying the basic face, players can go to the Shampoodle salon and can buy a mask in the shape of a Mii's face for 3,000 Bells but the first time they do this, it will be free.
To remove the mask, players can remove as they would remove any accessory. If they receive any bee stings, the stings will not be visible, but other villagers can see them. Any hats and other accessories will be removed when the Mii mask is worn.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, players can once again use the Mii mask as they did in Animal Crossing: City Folk. The player gets it the same way as from City Folk.
