A Mii is a digital avatar that represents the player in various games. It is introduced with the release of the Wii and is commonly used in games and consoles succeeding it as player avatars. Players create Miis through the Mii Channel in the Wii and the Wii U. Miis can also be moved from system to system by downloading them or by saving them on the Wii Remote and placing a copy on another Wii. While Miis are a mandatory profile element in the Wii and Wii U, they have been reduced to optional choices in the Nintendo Switch.

In Animal Crossing: City Folk

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, a Mii Mask can be created in the Shampoodle salon, where players can buy a mask in the shape of a Mii's face for 3,000 Bells, but the first time they do this, it will be free. To remove the mask, players can remove as any other accessory. If they receive any bee stings, the stings will not be visible, but other villagers can see them. Any hats and other accessories will be removed when the Mii Mask is worn.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, players can once again use the Mii mask as they did in Animal Crossing: City Folk. The player gets it the same way as from City Folk.
