Nan is a normal, goat villager who made her first appearance in Doubutsu no Mori e+, where like all other villagers who debuted in said game, could only be moved into the player′s town by scanning her e-Reader card. Her name may be a shortened form of "nanny", another word for a female goat, and her catchphrase, "kid", could relate to a baby goat, which is called a kid. Her picture quote also has a play on words, Nanny Nanny boo boo is the skipping song - she uses it because an adult female goat is called a Nanny goat.

Characteristics

Appearance

Nan is a gray goat with pale freckles on her cheek. She initially wears a citrus gingham. She has pink inside her ears and orange and yellow-striped horns on her head. Her hooves are tipped pink, the same color as the inside of her ears.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.

Nan is one of the normal villagers. Nan will sometimes become very interested in clothes after staying for a while. She is sweet to players and is usually in a good mood, but if the player does not go to their house on time when they invite Nan over in Wild World, she will be angry with them. Like Chevre, Nan is ever so friendly; when the player feels down, she usually helps them back up again.

House

In Doubutsu no Mori e+, Nan's house has the Library Wall and the Modern Tile as her wallpaper and flooring. She has a few items from the Cabana Set and Congo Drums. She owns a Retro Stereo that will play "K.K. Chorale."

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Nan's house has a Telescope, Wooden Box, Blue Bench, Regal Lamp, Mop, Retro TV, and a Classic Bed. Her wallpaper and flooring are the Library Wall and Modern Tile respectively. Like in Wild World, she has no stereo but if she is gifted one, it will play "Steep Hill."

In New Leaf, Nan's house has a small musical theme. It includes a Violin, a Grand Piano (which has a stool with it), a record player that plays K.K. Etude, a Desk Chair, a Desk, a Tall Bush, an Ornate Drawer, a table with the same design as the drawer with a lamp and a small bush on it.
