Template:Infobox Painting The Neutral Painting is a painting first introduced in Animal Crossing: City Folk. It is based upon Caravaggio's Basket of Fruit.
The painting depicts a wicker basket containing a range of summer fruits, much of which are in poor condition. The fruits and leaves in the painting have been slightly eaten away by insects and worms, or have begun to deteriorate.
The forgery of this painting depicts an even more deteriorated and pest-eaten range of fruits than the original.
