The Night of the Thirteenth Moon (十三夜の月 Jūsan'ya no tsuki?) is an event in Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori+ that occurs in October or November. The date of this event varies each year, as it occurs on the thirteenth day of the ninth lunar month.
The event is a moon viewing similar to the Harvest Moon Festival, which occurs on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. In Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+, the event was replaced by the Meteor Shower.
Appearances
In Doubutsu no Mori
In Doubutsu no Mori, during the festival, the moon's reflection can be seen in the lake, which villagers will gather around.
In Doubutsu no Mori+
In Doubutsu no Mori+, the moon viewing remains the same, but Tortimer will also appear by the lake and give the player a Moon if spoken to.
