NookTails[nb 1] is a web manga series written by Cho Hanayo and based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The series consists of short, four-panel strips that feature Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy. A total of eight strips were published on the official Japanese New Horizons website and Animal Crossing series Twitter account from October 15, 2019[1] to March 20, 2021.[2]
Five of the eight strips of were translated to English under the name NookTails; the third, fourth, and eighth strips were posted by the official Animal Crossing Twitter account in March 2020, May 2020, and March 2021, respectively,[3][4][5] and the second and fifth strips were added to Play Nintendo under the "News & Tips" category.[6][7] The first seven issues were translated to Korean and published on the game's official Korean website.
