Edit request[edit]

Since I can't edit the page, here are two minor changes that I suggest be made:

  • The "Entropial Era" box's color should be changed to a color other than yellow, so that it is readable. #FFD700 seems suitable, as it would then match its userbox.
  • There is a coding error in the Nookipedia era table. The width specified on the third line of table code is width=200px;. However, the equal sign needs to be replaced with a colon.

If someone gets to this, that'd be great. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 23:37, 2 December 2010 (EST)

Thanks. I've made the changes. --Jake 23:53, 2 December 2010 (EST)

What Era is it now[edit]

Is it still the Oasis Era? Or is it a new era? Plese reply. Pokebub 02:50, 3 April 2013 (EDT)

Responding to a rather old discussion, I'm not even sure how this "era" system work, and no way do I know what exactly is going on now. Mario Sigpic.png MarioTalk to-a me! 15:25, March 19, 2014 (EDT)

Is this page even needed? It is way out of date, poorly written, and unnecessary. The eras were more of an Animal Crossing City thing, it seems. Red Snapper 11:44, July 7, 2014 (EDT)

I'd be in favor of deleting it. I agree that it doesn't really fit here, and I don't really think it's worth keeping. -Sky (talk) 22:34, July 15, 2014 (EDT)
It is Wiki history, though, and while I agree that it's kind of useless, I'd keep it as an archive more than anything rather than delete it. Better be safe than sorry. Mario Signature.png 22:37, July 15, 2014 (EDT) I agree with the plumber!--Marcus (talk) 08:22, October 3, 2014 (EDT)
I agree with Mario. --XXSuperXXNintendoXx (talk) 22:47, July 15, 2014 (EDT)
I do think it's worth keeping, and that it's in desperate need of some cleaning up and updating. If not kept, it may be worth forking into a separate Nookipedia:History page of sorts, and then deleting this one. ~SuperHamster Talk 22:57, July 15, 2014 (EDT)
As for the cleaning up and renewing the information, I wonder who's going to do it? Only the users that has been here for several years can analyze the course wiki activity here properly, and I'm not one of them. Mario Signature.png 23:11, July 15, 2014 (EDT)
Hmm...I'm not really sure if there's much to do in terms of eras, other than 'pre-New Leaf' and 'post-New Leaf'.
On second thought, seeing that most of the content is history from before Nookipedia was established, I wouldn't be opposed to deleting it. We could save it and mark the page as an archive, though I don't find much point in that considering that most of the history isn't even Nookipedia's. ~SuperHamster Talk 23:21, July 15, 2014 (EDT)
Well, this is still a remnant of what Nookipedia used to be, right? I mean, maybe like a prototype... Mario Signature.png 23:26, July 15, 2014 (EDT)
The content here isn't really worthy of saving. I like the idea of this article, and would like to know a bit more of the site's evolution, however what we have here are seemingly arbitrary time periods with little to no information about what happened in them. I suggest that this be turned into some sort of history page with a paragraph or two description of how the wiki got to this point and leave it at that. --sunmarsh (talk) 00:09, July 16, 2014 (EDT)
Yes, but we already have info about how the wiki formed on the Nookipedia article, so I think deletion is more suitable here. Red Snapper 11:43, July 16, 2014 (EDT)
In that case I see no use for this page. I might suggest keeping a copy of the page somewhere in case someone with extensive knowledge of the site's previous iterations comes along and wants to revive this but otherwise it's not doing much for the wiki as is. --sunmarsh (talk) 12:22, July 16, 2014 (EDT)
I guess someone could keep it as a user that's allowed. It may not be; it isn't on some wiki. Red Snapper 12:52, July 16, 2014 (EDT)
Again, maybe an archive can work so we can retrieve it if we ever need it, but keep it away from everything except for the curious. :P Mario Signature.png 21:06, July 17, 2014 (EDT)
Been a year since we discussed this, but after thinking it over, this page has very little to do with Nookipedia - it show's Animal Crossing City's history. We should probably place the archive template on this historic page. In fact, I'm about to do so. Red (snappity snap snap!) Red Snapper WW Sprite.png 15:38, August 18, 2015 (EDT)
