O'Hare (サンデー, Sandē, Santos) is a cranky rabbit islander in Template:AF+, Animal Crossing and Template:AFe+, while he is a villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf with a smug personality. His name could come from the comic book character Bucky O'Hare, made into a TV series for children by the BBC, or the Nintendo character Peppy Hare from the Star Fox series - both of which are hares. His name could also be named after his species, a hare. Another theory is that his name may be a play upon the expression "Luck Of The Irish" as the prefix "O'" in his name is common among Irish surnames, the Irish are stereotypically lucky as are rabbit's feet. He also shares his name with O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, which may indirectly refer to rabbits hopping high off the ground, similar to how airplanes fly high off the ground.

Appearance

O'Hare is a brown rabbit with orange hair, a green nose and green on the insides of his ears. He also wears a yellow top hat with a black trim.

Personality

O'Hare has a cranky personality. He later has a smug personality when he returns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Fruit allergy

As an islander, he has a favorite fruit and a fruit that he is allergic to. Feeding him the allergy fruit will reduce the likelihood of his dropping money bags. O'Hare is allergic to peaches and loves oranges.
