O'Hare (サンデー, Sandē, Santos) is a cranky rabbit islander in Template:AF+, Animal Crossing and Template:AFe+, while he is a villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf with a smug personality, though he still initially wears the Blue Aloha Shirt. His name could come from the comic book character Bucky O'Hare, made into a TV series for children by the BBC. He also shares his name with O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois. His initial catchphrase, "amigo", comes from the word for "friend" in Spanish and Portuguese.

Appearance

O'Hare is a brown rabbit with orange hair, a green nose and green on the insides of his ears. He also wears a yellow top hat with a black trim.

Personality

O'Hare has a cranky personality. He later has a smug personality when he returns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. O'Hare is allergic to peaches and loves oranges.

Cranky

Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.

As a cranky villager, O'Hare will have the tendency to be belittling towards those around him. He is no exception to the typical cranky villager type, finding peppy villagers too happy and conflicting against snooty villagers. When talking to other cranky villagers, he will get involved in deep conversations, usually about trivial matters like the weather or other villagers and the way they act. For some reason he enjoys gardening, and will soon be involved in fishing and Bug catching. He may also ask the player to look for an item of clothing for him to wear - giving the excuse that he cannot be caught shopping for clothes because it is "lame". In Wild World, he may challenge the player to fishing competitions.

Smug

Below is a brief description of the smug personality. For more information, click here.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf O'Hare is a Smug villager, meaning he will come off as a gentlemen and polite. Smug villagers seem to be a mix between some personalities, and are kind, lively but can come off as conceited. They will occasionally flirt with the player, regardless of gender. Smug villagers cannot be a starter villager, and can only move in after the player becomes mayor. They wake up at 8:30 am.

House

In the first Animal Crossing, O'Hare's house has an island look.
