Jack, the self-proclaimed czar of Halloween

October is the month in which the Animal Crossing series celebrates Halloween (this holiday was not in Wild World). The 31st is the only time each year to see Jack. Candy is sold throughout the month at Tom Nook's store in preparation for Halloween (in Animal Crossing).

• Autumn Moon in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Will occur on October 4th 2009 from 6:00am - 12:00am.

• Flea Market in Animal Crossing: Wild World & Animal Crossing: City Folk.

This event occurs on the first Saturday of the month.

• Mushrooming Season in Animal Crossing (GCN).

Occurs from October 15th to 25th, from 8am each day.

Collect up to five mushrooms every day, sell for 5,000 Bells each.

• Halloween in Animal Crossing (GCN) & Animal Crossing: City Folk.

This event occurs on October 31st.
