Penelope (チューこ, Chyūko) is a peppy mouse villager in the Animal Crossing series. She is a new character, first appearing in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her initial phrase is a reference to her unique lack of ears and instead a bow.

Appearance

Penelope is a light gray, almost mint-colored mouse with blonde hair. Her appearance is rather unique for a mouse, as she lacks ears and has a big, pink bow in their place. Her bow is quite similar to Celeste's. She has a dark gray nose, and a small, perky smile showing her teeth. The tips of her paws and legs are a dark gray. Her eyes are of an oval shape, she has black pupils and a set of two eyelashes on both her eyes, while she sports a pink wave shirt during her first appearance in a player's town.

Personality

Penelope is a villager under the peppy personality, meaning she is overly energetic, hyper at times and generally happy. She is very friendly, eager to make new friends and as a result, is quite easy to befriend. She loves attention, dancing, popularity and gossiping, but dislikes it when other villagers gossip about her. She is competitive, open about her feelings and talkative, which might cause other villagers to find her annoying. She is quite generous, but is easily angered when disappointed or ignored.

House

Penelope's house is rather neat and feminine, with quite a few pieces of lovely and alpine furniture, including the lovely lamp and bed, and an alpine dresser and low table. Her house features a sweets player that plays Bubblegum K.K., she has a makeup case on top of a table, a gerbera, simple love seat, corkboard, rubber tree, fancy doll, cushion and a mobile. Her flooring is a pastel dot rug while her wallpaper is the pastel dot wall.
