(Player chooses <Peppy Villager>!)

• Peppy Villager: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! You are, like, SO SUPER SMART, <catchphrase>! I don't even have to TRY to be this cute! Not like old <Lazy Villager> over there... It's an easy choice, huh? Yay, <catchphrase>!
• Lazy Villager: B-b-b-but... Aw, why, <catchphrase>? Whyyyyyyy?

Peppy Villager will walk off happy. Lazy Villager will walk off sad.

(Player chooses <Lazy Villager>!)

• Peppy Villager: ...WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!
• Lazy Villager: Aw, see! I knew you were the right person for the job, <player>. Thanks a bunch, <catchphrase>!
• Peppy Villager: ...WHAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! MEANIE! BIG JERKFACE MEANIE WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO MEEEEEEEEEE?

Peppy Villager will walk off sad. Lazy Villager will walk off happy.

(Player chooses ME!!)

• Peppy Villager: ...WHAT?! That wasn't even, like, an OPTION or whatever, <catchphrase>!
• Lazy Villager: Ah huh huh! I guess you are kinda cute in a little person way, <player>.
• Peppy Villager: AS IF! That's exactly why it's NOT cute, <catchphrase>!

Both of the villagers will walk off unaffected.

With Cranky Villager

• Peppy Villager: Hey, <Cranky Villager>, can you say this? "Naughty Nook nicked a nice kitchen knife."
• Cranky Villager: ...Nook checked a kitchen... Nook knickered naughty... Nasty clicky clacker...!
• Peppy Villager: Tee hee! Teeeee hee hee!
• Cranky Villager: Nasty Nick checked a kitchen chicken kick!
• Peppy Villager: Tee hee! Teeeee hee hee heeeeeee!
• Cranky Villager: ARGH! STOP LAUGHING AT ME! Fine! I can't say your stupid tongue twister! Are you HAPPY NOW?!
• Peppy Villager: Eeeek! Omigosh, it was just a joke! Why are you such a big jerkface, <Cranky Villager>? Waaaaaaaaah!
• Cranky Villager: ...

• Peppy Villager: Yeah, but when I woke up, it was totally gone! I even looked under the bed and everything! And then I saw you walking and I went to talk to you and you RAN AWAY! GUILTY, <catchphrase>! Like, j'accuse and stuff!
• Cranky Villager: That's because you were running at me with this crazed look in your eyes! I was scared of you! Maybe you were dreaming about eating and chowed it down in your sleep? I do that sometimes.
• Peppy Villager: I did NOT sleep-eat my food! That's, like, absurd! Only weirdos eat food in their sleep.
• Cranky Villager: Well then, what's that?
• Peppy Villager: Ohmigosh, are you going to try and... ???? AAAUUGHH! There's something stuck in my teeth, <catchphrase>!
• Cranky Villager: See? Maybe you should think before you start acting like a crazy person, <catchphrase>.
• Peppy Villager: Yaaaaaaaaaaay! That's amazing, <Cranky Villager>! You could be a detective!
• Cranky Villager: Gaaa ha ha ha ha! I would make a pretty good detective, wouldn't I, <catchphrase>?

With Smug Villager

• Peppy Villager: AHH! I WANT TO DANCE! Hey, <Smug Villager>... What kind of song would I be? Y'know...if I were a song.
• Smug Villager: Hmm, probably some kind of pop song that gets stuck in your head forever when you hear it once. Uh...you know. In a good way. <Player>, what do you think, hmm?

(Player chooses A love song, maybe?)

• Smug Villager: Exactly. A tragic love song about unrequited love...
• Peppy Villager: Why does everything have to be TRAGIC with you? Why can't it just be the cutest and catchiest love song ever? The ballad of <Peppy Villager>!

With Snooty Villager

• Peppy Villager: I'm totally not into the whole Prince Charming thing. The <animal> of my dreams is NOT some rich hero who needs to save me or whatevs. I mean, EYE ROLL! And FYI, I do not want them chasing me around with a glass shoe, or— EWWW— kissing me while I'm asleep. Gross! Just...NO!
• Snooty Villager: Well, <catchphrase>, what is this NOT Prince Charming of yours like, then?
• Peppy Villager: Hmm, let's see, <catchphrase>... First of all, they're my BIGGEST fan. They come to ALL my shows. And they cheer louder than anyone else! And if they're a star too—which they totes are—I'll go to their shows and I'll cheer louder than anyone else. Way WAAAAY louder! And sometimes we'll sing a duet and the whole audience will CRY because our voices sound SO GOOD together!
• Snooty Villager: Equal partners, eh? Well, bravo to you for a surprisingly mature vision of true love.
• Peppy Villager: Yeah, there's just one problem... I can't decide whose name they should announce first when we go onstage for our duet. Ohmigosh! I got it! They can announce our names at the EXACT same time! I bet they'll sound SOOOO good all smooshed together like that!
