Pierce (セバスチャン, Sebastian) is an eagle villager in the Animal Crossing series, with a jock personality. His name may relate to either his beak or his talons, which can pierce through the flesh of other animals in reality. His initial phrases relate to the bird species. Also it should be noted that his name and initial phrase may a reference to the character Benjamin "Hawkeye" Pierce from the TV series M*A*S*H, although this may be a coincidence.

Pierce from Animal Crossing

Pierce is a blue-bodied and white headed eagle, possibly based upon a male merlin. He has inquisitive, round eyes rimmed with black and a yellow beak with a black tip. He initially wears the Circus Shirt in Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, which blends in with his appearance. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf he wears the Camel Shirt. He bears a slight appearance to some parrots like Frank.

Personality

As a jock villager, Pierce will have an interest in physical fitness and sports making him appear competitive when talking to other villagers and the player. He will, despite his competitiveness, be friendly to the player but he may offend other villagers, usually snooty or cranky villagers, when he criticizes their fitness and physical appearance, usually making them walk off angry or upset. He will get along with peppy villagers.

House

In Animal Crossing: City Folk Pierce enjoys the Regal series of furniture including the Regal Sofa, Regal Bed, Regal Table, Regal Armoire, Regal Chair and Regal Lamp. He also has a Refrigerator and Radiator. Lastly "K.K. Etude" playing on his stereo. Pierce has almost the whole set of regal furniture, including carpet and wallpaper, which may appear strange for a jock.
