Pine Tree Set

Not to be confused with the Bonsai Set, a collection of flowering bonsai trees that appears in Wild World, City Folk, and New Leaf.

The Pine Bonsai Set (known as the Bonsai Set in Animal Crossing) is a collection of three bonsai trees in the Animal Crossing series that was introduced in Doubutsu no Mori. Another collection of bonsai trees (the Bonsai Set) was introduced in Animal Crossing: Wild World. Bonsai is the art of aesthetic miniaturization of trees. Pine trees are often used as their needles lend themselves well to the overall appearance of miniature trees; the names of the trees in this set are from the formal name of different species of pine.
