Prince is a lazy frog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He debuted in Doubutsu no Mori, and, although absent from Animal Crossing: Wild World, has appeared in every game afterwards. His name is based on the fairy tale The Frog Prince.

Prince is a green frog. He has a ring of darker green, representing a beard, around a beige spot on his mouth.

Prince is a lazy villager. As a lazy villager, he will have small interests in sleeping around, talking about napping and food, and sometimes talking about super heroes. Despite this, he will be hospitable and welcoming towards the Player. As a lazy villager, he will also be the thorn in the side of snooty and cranky villagers, annoying them with his laidback exterior and laziness. He may become heavily involved in town events, and be a rival in competitions like the Fishing Tourney and Bug Off.
