Puck is a lazy penguin villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name refers to a "puck," used in hockey games, which is played on ice, and ice is the habitat the typical penguin lives in. His Japanese name is literally the word hockey. His favorite saying, "A bad attitude will land you in the penalty box," also references hockey. He is absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World, and he returns in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

In New Horizons, Puck has the fitness hobby and will be more frequently seen participating in exercises by stretching or lifting heavy weights.

Appearance

Puck in Animal Crossing.

Puck is a light pink penguin with a yellow beak, a white chin, and a blue hockey helmet, while his eyes appear to be partially covered by said helmet. In Doubutsu no Mori, Puck's skin is a darker shade of pink, and his eyes are wider. He also lacks the white on his chin. Puck also bears a passing resemblance to Scoot, a jock duck villager.

He goes along with other villagers, though his lifestyle clashes with the jock's, where jocks are interested in keeping fitness.
