Sale Day is an event in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+ for the GameCube that occurs in November. Tom Nook sells special grab bags, each with three items inside; the items may be furniture, wallpaper, carpet, or a handheld item, such as a pinwheel. A grab bag costs the number of Bells equal to the current year. If it is 2001, for example they will cost 2,001 Bells. Redd will also set up his tent in the player's town selling three items, one always being a painting. If the player talks to Tortimer, they can receive a Market Model.
Given its immediate following of Harvest Festival and general theme, Sale Day is likely an in-game equivalent of the US event Black Friday.
Trivia
- There is a known glitch with Redd's tent. If the player buys all three items and leaves the acre, then returns, the tent is replaced by a sign post. If they leave again, Redd will also disappear.
