The Sloppy Series is a furniture series that first appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It makes a reappearance in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the 2.0 Free Update. It consists mostly of typical furniture pieces that are unkempt. For example, the Sloppy Bed is unmade, and the Sloppy Sink is filled with unwashed dishware.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Benjamin owns seven items, Marshal owns five items, Mott owns four items, Gaston owns three items, Iggly owns three items, Buck owns two items, Graham owns two items, and Rasher owns two items from the Sloppy Series.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Frett owns five items from the Sloppy Series.

The Sloppy Series is primarily owned by male villagers, at around 82% (14 male villagers out of 17 total villagers who own at least one item from the Sloppy Series). Bella, Dora, and Petri are the only three female villagers, and the only mouse villagers, who own an item from the Sloppy Series

Animal Crossing: New Leaf

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the Sloppy Series, unlike most furniture, is acquired only from the flea market in Re-Tail or the lost and found in the Police Station. With the Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo update, Wendell's RV also has Sloppy Sink and Sloppy Table, which can be ordered for 3 MEOW Coupons each.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

While intially absent from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Sloppy Series return in New Horizons version 2.0, albeit with a smaller selection of items compared to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. These items can only be obtained by the recycle box in Resident Services, with the exception of the Sloppy Rug, which is obtainable from Saharah. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all furniture from the Sloppy Series can be customized. The variation can be customized by Cyrus, while the pattern can be customized by either the player or Cyrus. The Sloppy Bed, Sloppy Sink, and Sloppy Table have eight available variations: Light Wood, Natural Wood, Dark Wood, White, Gray, Light Blue, Pink, and Ash Brown. The Sloppy Sofa has eight available variations: Beige, Gray, Navy Blue, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Brown; and eight available patterns: White, Light Blue, Dark Green, Red, Light Green, Yellow, Pink, and Beige. The Sloppy Bed has eight available patterns: Beige, Gray, Navy Blue, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Brown. The Sloppy Table has seven available patterns: Gardening, Travel, Fashion, Sports, Comics, Kids, and Weekly News.
