"Steep Hill" (にだんざか, Two-tiered Slope) is one of the many songs performed by K.K. Slider. It was introduced in Doubutsu no Mori e+ as a live-only song if the player had the right e-card. The aircheck version was added in Animal Crossing: Wild World, where K.K. Slider might choose to play the song if the player asks for an encore and telling him that his or her mood is sad. It has a melancholic tone throughout. The aircheck version of the song is slightly more uptempo than the live version due to the added bassline.
Maelle and Daisy (Megumi and Ketchup on the original e-Reader card) are featured on the cover, talking to each other outside, as K.K. Slider is in a house (likely a school) playing a guitar.
Nan (in Wild World and City Folk), Admiral, Al (in New Leaf), Cranston, Phil, and Sparro play this song in their house when a stereo is obtained.
