| '''NTSC-U''': Able Sisters is a clothing and tailoring shop run by three completely different sisters. The oldest, Sable, quietly sews in the corner. The middle child, Labelle, sells accessories, and the youngest, Mabel, greets customers cheerfully. They fought in the past but have put that behind them!<br><br>'''PAL''': The three Able sisters are like chalk and cheese...and thread, but running a clothes shop makes good use of their strengths: Sable works quietly at the sewing machine, Labelle sells accessories, and the cheerful Mabel welcomes people in. Despite their quirks, they get along well...usually.

If the bees are after you, you can shake them for a while with some evasive maneuvers, but they'll track you down.<br><br>'''PAL''': Bees don't like it when people destroy their home, so if you break a beehive, they'll come out looking for revenge. Even if you innocently had the beehive thrown at you, you'll be the target. You can dodge all you want, but they'll probably get you in the end, and their stings'll do a LOT of damage.

Regardless, if you pop by during the day, you'll catch him napping.<br><br>'''PAL''': Blathers is the perfect owl to be in charge of the town museum. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, known in Japan as Dairantō Sumasshu Burazāzu fō Nintendō Surī Dī Esu / Wī Yū (大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, lit. Great Fray Smash Brothers for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U), commonly referred to as Super Smash Bros. 4, is officially considered the fourth and fifth installment in the Super Smash Bros. series. The game launched in 2014 on both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, the 3DS entry marks the series' first handheld version. It is also the first Super Smash Bros. game to feature an Animal Crossing-related playable character, specifically Villager; whose appearance is based on the male player from the cover of Animal Crossing: City Folk. Additionally, Isabelle, the mayor's assistant who debuted in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, makes an appearance in the game as an Assist Trophy.

Animal Crossing series in Super Smash Bros. 4

Stages

This title brings back Smashville from Super Smash Bros. Brawl in the Wii U title. In addition, two new stages are introduced - Tortimer Island in the 3DS version and Town and City.

Items

Pitfall Seed makes a return and Beehive is introduced. Beehive can be attacked or thrown - upon interaction, a swarm of bees will attack a single player.

Trophies

Name Picture Description
Able Sisters x
(3DS)
80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Able Sisters is a clothing and tailoring shop run by three completely different sisters. The oldest, Sable, quietly sews in the corner. The middle child, Labelle, sells accessories, and the youngest, Mabel, greets customers cheerfully. They fought in the past but have put that behind them!

PAL: The three Able sisters are like chalk and cheese...and thread, but running a clothes shop makes good use of their strengths: Sable works quietly at the sewing machine, Labelle sells accessories, and the cheerful Mabel welcomes people in. Despite their quirks, they get along well...usually.
Beehive x
(3DS)
80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: An example of fine architecture constructed by insects, these bees are not shy about defending their hard work. Throw this at an enemy to direct their hate at that player. If the bees are after you, you can shake them for a while with some evasive maneuvers, but they'll track you down.

PAL: Bees don't like it when people destroy their home, so if you break a beehive, they'll come out looking for revenge. Even if you innocently had the beehive thrown at you, you'll be the target. You can dodge all you want, but they'll probably get you in the end, and their stings'll do a LOT of damage.
Blanca 80px
(3DS)
Her smooth face is just like...well, a blank canvas! She used to let people give her a face by drawing on her, but in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, she uses her peculiar face to trick everyone on April Fools' Day. Only a master of disguise like her could mimic other people so convincingly!
Blathers 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Blathers knows all there is to know about fossils, which is probably why he is in charge of the town museum. He also knows about fish and art, but he seems a bit squeamish when it comes to bugs. It has something to do with childhood trauma. Regardless, if you pop by during the day, you'll catch him napping.

PAL: Blathers is the perfect owl to be in charge of the town museum. He knows all there is to know about fossils, fish, and art, but he's a little squeamish when it comes to bugs. Probably had a bad experience back when he was an owlet... Anyway, pop over to the museum during the day to catch him "resting his eyes".
Brewster Brewster SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: If you stop in the Roost, you'll spot Brewster behind the counter, ready to serve you a cup of his original blend. You know you're a regular when Brewster becomes slightly more talkative. Never too aloof, never too familiar, he's as comfy to have around as a pigeon-milk latte.

PAL: Stop in at the Roost to see Brewster behind the counter, ready to serve you a cup of his original blend. You know you've become a regular when he starts being a bit more chatty. He's never too aloof, never too "in your face" - he's just nice to be around whenever you feel like having a pigeon-milk latte.
Bus to the City 80px
(Wii U)
The bus that takes you into the city in Animal Crossing: City Folk. It's free 24/7 and driven by a certain someone you might recognize (you might have also seen him driving a boat or a taxi). Take the bus anytime to see places like the theatre and the art gallery, and try visiting at night to see some places that are usually closed.
Celeste 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Celeste works in the town museum, where you can find her dozing during the day. You can't really be mad about that, though- she is an owl, after all. Most residents will let her sleep, knowing that she'll wake up promptly if she's needed. What could she be dreaming about?

PAL: Go to the town museum during the day to see Celeste working there. Working...and snoozing. You can't really blame her, though - she is an owl! If you ever need her help with something, just talk to her and she'll wake right up. If you don't need her help, though, maybe you should be nice and let her keep dreaming!
Chip 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: For some people, fishing is all about the journey, not the destination. For this beaver, it's all about the destination... because the destination means dinner! If you take him a big fish, he'll congratulate you. Then he'll gobble it down like he hasn't eaten in days. It's...erm...quite a sight.

PAL: For some people, fishing is all about "catch and release". For this beaver, it's more like "measure and eat". Bring him a big fish and he'll congratulate you and tell you just how big it is. In return, he asks to keep your fish. No need to slice, fry or grill it. He'll just gobble it down whole. It's, er...quite the sight.
Cooper & Booker 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you decide which police officer you'll have in your town based on the type of police station you put up. Will you build the modern police station and hire the brisk, professional Copper? Or perhaps the classic police station and the quiet, nervous Booker?

PAL: In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you decide which police officer you'll have in your town based on the type of police station you put up. Will you build the modern police station and hire the brisk, professional Copper, or do you prefer the classic police station and Copper's quiet, nervous partner, Booker? It's all up to you - it's your town, after all!
Digby 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Isabelle's twin brother, Digby, works at the Happy Home Showcase, but if he needs a quick break, he'll head down to the Roost for a cup of coffee. He takes Blue Mountain, black, no sugar, whereas his sister likes her coffee with a lot of milk and three sugars. For some reason, an order that doesn't include "a lot of milk" sounds more mature.

PAL: Isabelle's twin brother Digby works at the Happy Home Showcase, but if he needs a quick break, he'll head down to the Roost for a cup of coffee. He takes Blue Mountain, black, no sugar, whereas his sister likes her coffee with a lot of milk and three sugars. Funny how something as simple as a coffee order can make you sound more mature...
DJ KK 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: "Yo yo yo! Come rock out at Club LOL! Featuring DJ KK every night of the week (except Saturdays)! Listen to the singer- songwriter bust out a foot-stompin' mix of tunes! Don't forget to come on your birthday for a special treat!" ...That advertisement definitely catches the eye.

PAL:  "Get down at Club LOL! DJ KK is IN da HOUSE, spinning a NON-STOP mix of the best beats EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!*
*(Except Saturdays.)
A Special TREAT for birthday VIPs!
What an ad! So many capital letters…
Don (NTSC-U)
Don Resetti (PAL)
80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Don and Sonny Resetti run the Reset Surveillance Center. They keep a careful eye out for players who might be resetting their games without saving. As Don likes to say, "Resettin' ain't good. So don't do it!" If Sonny is the brother who catches you, you'll hear a lot more than that!

PAL: This chap runs the Reset Surveillance Center with his brother, the fabled scolder Mr. Resetti (first name: Sonny). Their job is to warn players who switch off without saving. Don's gentle about it, though. He'll say stuff like, "Resettin' ain't no good. So, um, don't do it!" If you get caught resetting, just hope it's Don's face you see.
Dr. Shrunk x
(3DS)
80px
