Do you think DAL is possibly a reference to Delta Air Lines? They both have the DAL intials. PotatoHead20 (talk) 14:42, June 28, 2020 (EDT)

I'd say its more of a coincidence than anything. Since DAL is used as an official airline code/stock exchange acronym for Delta Air Lines, I don't think Nintendo would purposely make an acronym that could refer to a real-life trademarked name not owned by them, due to legal reasons and possible free advertisement for Delta. The fact that they share initials could go in a trivia section, but it would have to be noted that it is unknown whether it is intentional or not. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 20:58, June 28, 2020 (EDT)

I'd argue that it's more of a nod to Japan Airlines since both have a bird on their logos, although I decided to not put it in since that may just be coincidental. Decomposer 09:20, August 27, 2020 (EDT)
