:Support I agree. It's confused me how Mario Kart 8 redirects to Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 and not its own page. It's not like Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 is a special crossover event either, it's merely a DLC pack, and that's changed by MK8D including it by default anyway. To-do template removal?

Hi, I have added more names to the list of cameos, but I am not sure that I got them all. Should I keep the 'to do' banner on or should I remove it? Many thanks! TangyTheTangerine (talk) 11:37, September 6, 2020 (EDT)

There may be more villagers, but I think we have a sizeable enough list now that it's safe to remove the template. Thanks for helping out! Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 13:24, September 6, 2020 (EDT)

sure! :) TangyTheTangerine (talk) 15:43, September 7, 2020 (EDT)

Links in courses

I think we need to put links in courses but it turns out like like [Course] insted of Course. Shell (Green) NH Icon.png Bubbasour11 Lolly NH Villager Icon.png =P Shell (Green) NH Icon.png

The way to put links here on Nookipedia is Course, just to let you know. ~ Vivian (talk) Vivian DnMe+ Minigame.png 15:27, July 28, 2021 (EDT)
I think Bubbasour11 might have been suggesting we link the tracks to their respective article on Mariowiki? I've gone ahead and done so. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 21:59, July 28, 2021 (EDT)

Yah. The problem was I included the game it was from in the link.Shell (Green) NH Icon.png Bubbasour11 Lolly NH Villager Icon.png =P Shell (Green) NH Icon.png

Move to Mario Kart 8 and split Animal Crossing course into its own page

I think we should move this to a dedicated Mario Kart 8 page where we go into what the game is a bit, similar to our pages on the Super Smash Bros. series. While the game has less Animal Crossing content overall compared to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it has two playable characters and a course, so I feel like that's enough to warrant the game having its own dedicated page. Also, the name Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 only pertains to the DLC pack for the Wii U version of Mario Kart 8, but the Animal Crossing content from the pack also appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

I am also proposing that we expand our coverage of the Animal Crossing course and move it to its own page at Animal Crossing (course), just like how we cover the Animal Crossing stages in the Super Smash Bros. games. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 02:10, December 14, 2022 (EST)
