Missing info[edit]

I'm a fair fan of Animal Crossing, but this page doesn't give much information. Particularly, the games section really doesn't include the differences between the games. From what I can understand, the first Animal Crossing game is referred to as Animal Forest by many fans, and was released in Japan and is the only game in the series on the Nintendo 64 console. Then Animal Forest+ was basically a slightly-updated version of Animal Forest but was released for the at-the-time new Nintendo Gamecube. I guess re-releasing the same game but with improvements is rather common over in Japan, at least in the Harvest Moon series (e.g. Island of Happiness to Sunshine Islands, Tree of Tranquility to Animal Parade). Then Animal Forest+ was released internationally as Animal Crossing. Animal Forest e+ served as another improvement to Animal Forest+ as it was released two years after Animal Forest Basically, the improvements in Animal Forest e+ were a few new version-exclusive items and such, kind of like how some special-edition computer games are released with exclusive items. And there isn't much confusion with Wild World or City Folk, as both are independent from the first installment and were released globally. I would like to see a brief description of what discriminates Animal Forest from Animal Forest+, Animal Crossing, and Animal Forest e+. Also, I'd like to see variant titles of each game on the page. Despite the fact that the Japanese-only games are referred to as Animal Forest and such all over the wiki, there is no mention of that title anywhere on this page. I don't know much about it, so can somebody take charge of this?--BellBank 22:44, 2 July 2012 (EDT)

Languages[edit]

I'm working on a template project, and it's pertinent that I find out what languages the Animal Crossing/Dobutsu no Mori games have been released in. Does anyone know this? Pakkun 07:53, 22 December 2012 (EST)
