Marilyn Monroe

Do we have any reference that she’s supposed to be inspired by Marilyn Monroe? I thought that was Monique as Claudia basically looks like a purple tiger. Do we have a citation for that claim? WolfpawOfficial (talk) 11:31, December 28, 2020 (EST)

I'd be in favor of removing it. The claim only suggests that she was 'probably' inspired by Monroe which looks to me like speculation. Drago (talk) 13:09, December 28, 2020 (EST)

I actually think the reference is worth a mention though as Marilyn did have half-closed eyes and a mole on her left cheek. Monique's mole is actually on the wrong side. Very few villager names have confirmed origin stories, and are essentially speculation. The article could be reworded to reflect this: 'probably because she resembles Marilyn Monroe...' can become 'may be a reference to Marilyn Monroe...'. (talk) 13:11, December 28, 2020 (EST)
