Are we sure he's a dog? He doesn't look like one to me. Aside from the special dogs who are different species, they all have much longer head shape, if that makes any sense. When they first revealed Welcome amiibo, I thought he was an otter. At this point though, beccause of the hair, I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be a Yak. It wouldn't be the first time they've had a completely new animal type exsclusive to one Special Villager. If he really is a Dog though, can someone provide real proof? :Unfortunately I haven't seen him explicitly referred to as a dog, and there's little dialogue from him to go off of - but I thought it's always looked pretty clear. His ears resemble those of a Cocker Spaniel. I don't think head shape is a lot to go off of - all the special dogs have very different head shapes (Booker and Cooper being two very different examples). Harvey is also seen closely associated with other dogs; in the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bk3dAR0M68 Nintendo Direct where he was introduced], Harvey was presented alongside K.K.
