Does insurance expire?
This is a statement not clarified by the article, nor talked about in Lyle. They just both state that the player pays 3,000 and 6,000 Bells on accident and damage insurance respectively. LethatLink99's FAQ on ACWW states that, once all players in the game purchase both types of coverage, Lyle no longer appears. This is contradictory to the claim that Lyle appears every Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM.
The first question is, does Lyle appear every Saturday, even if the player (suppose there is only one player) has bought both types of insurance? The second is, does the insurance expire (e.g., after 30 bee stings, is it possible to recoup the costs of paying for insurance)? Can anyone answer these? - IIRC, Lyle does disappear when all players (even if there's only one) buy both types of insurance. It makes no sense, because Lyle needs to appear in order for the player to hand forged paintings to him! I'm not aware of insurance expiring, but someone else will need to answer that one. Do we need this article?

Do we even need to have this page? Could quite easily be merged with Lyle I think. Drago (talk) 11:30, May 4, 2021 (EDT)
- Support - I agree, there's just not enough information here to justify this page. If the insurance system had been a larger gameplay element in Wild World or if it had continued to other games in the series this page may have been necessary, but as it stands I think it can just move onto Lyle's page as you've suggested. - Given that insurance is only applicable in one game and hasn't returned in the latest games, I would Support merging this with Lyle -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 01:02, July 16, 2021 (EDT)

- I Support for the page to just be a redirect to Lyle. -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 22:46, July 18, 2021 (EDT)
