However, if it should be merged anywhere, it makes the most sense to merge it with the [[Nintendo 3DS]] page, since it's equipment that is used specifically in combination with the older Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. It would be similar to the sub-sections on the [[Nintendo GameCube|GameCube]] page that lists some equipment compatible with it. Also, this page could be fleshed out to have more information about the official HHD comic involving it ([https://play.nintendo.com/news-tips/comics/animal-crossing-comic-strip-part-2/ link]). Merge with amiibo
Unlike the Nintendo e-Reader, this article addresses an peripheral that was only made for older Nintendo 3DS systems. Newer systems such as the New Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL/2DS XL do not require this add-on for amiibos at all. Neither does the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch. The e-Reader is more understandable to have because it's basically necessary to use e-Reader cards.
