Merge with amiibo

Unlike the Nintendo e-Reader, this article addresses an peripheral that was only made for older Nintendo 3DS systems. Newer systems such as the New Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL/2DS XL do not require this add-on for amiibos at all. Neither does the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch. The e-Reader is more understandable to have because it's basically necessary to use e-Reader cards.  Oppose I'm not really convinced there is a good reason to merge this page. However, if it should be merged anywhere, it makes the most sense to merge it with the Nintendo 3DS page, since it's equipment that is used specifically in combination with the older Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. It would be similar to the sub-sections on the GameCube page that lists some equipment compatible with it. Also, this page could be fleshed out to have more information about the official HHD comic involving it (link). HylianAngel (talk) 00:03, November 22, 2022 (EST)

 Oppose I see no reason to merge this page, it's a perfectly fine page to have on its own and is a necessary component if the player has an older 3DS model. Merging it with another page would be misleading. Chubby Bub (talk) 02:40, November 27, 2022 (EST)
