Deletion?

I agree that this article page is very much lacking. I'm a bit conflicted about whether the articles should be merged, or if some of the information on the white turnips page actually belongs in the Guide space. I think it might be worthwhile to start a larger discussion about what we want the guide space to be and how it should be distinct from the article space, as well as what sort of content belongs in each space. I think this page could really use some more detail and perhaps an explanation on how exactly the stalk market works. A chart in the white turnips section containing buying and selling price patterns would be nice too. Sundae2Cat (talk) 18:25, October 8, 2018 (EDT)

Also, a guide on how to obtain turnips would help too. I mean, people view this article to find out what the stalk market IS, because after you learn that, you're just free to use the stalk market feature. The problem is that people on this wiki are just lacking reason to contribute to this article because red turnip and white turnip have all the information that this article has. I mean, since Animal Crossing wiki's white turnip article (link here: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/White_Turnip) has a stalk market outcome calculator, it shouldn't be too hard to add a bit of detail. Merge

Now that we have no Guide namespace, I'm going to suggest that we merge this article with Turnip. The Stalk Market is completely tied to White Turnips and not to anything else, so I think it makes sense to merge rather than have two slightly different articles about the same gameplay element.  Oppose Even if the Stalk Market is totally tied with White Turnips, I feel like people are more inclined to look up "Stalk Market" info over "Turnips" info, especially for someone that might not know a lot of how the market works. If anything, it could be wise to merge "Turnips" to "Stalk Market", but then the question of how that'll work when there are item pages on "Turnips" is still up in the air. Let me be clear, I understand the problem that is arisen with having both "Stalk Market" and "Turnips", but could it be plausible to make "Turnips" on the Turnip item more than just the Stalk Market? -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 14:02, September 25, 2022 (EDT)
