Deletion?

Is this page needed? It doesn't look notable and its content can be moved elsewhere. There's nothing interesting that you can say about the taxi, and it doesn't play much of a role in the game. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 11:38, September 3, 2021 (EDT)

Oppose Oppose I feel that taxi shares a similar relevance as the other vehicles, like the bus and train. It's relevant enough since it's involved in character creation. Users might want to know more about specifically the taxi itself, the model boat's relevance to the original Animal Crossing (and the easter egg about how it sometimes falls down at the end of the car ride), or read about how the taxi makes an appearance in the movie and Smash Bros. Also forgot to mention how the music that plays within it is related to Marine Song 2001. HylianAngel (talk) 14:56, September 3, 2021 (EDT)
If this is the case, then perhaps we should instead create a Transportation page that describes each transportation methods that the player can use. While this doesn't mean we should merge bus, train and airport together onto one psge, it would make for a better page for Taxi to be in. Plus we can talk about other modes of transportation, such as boats, wipe pipes, and the Rescue Service app. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 15:09, September 3, 2021 (EDT)
Support Support - A transportation page sounds like a great idea, and then any forms of transportation that are notable enough for their own page can be linked to via {{Main}}. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 17:11, September 3, 2021 (EDT)
