Is their last name actually Nook?

I've been looking around, and I can't find anywhere within the games in which they're called Timmy and Tommy Nook. Only Timmy and Tommy, the Nooklings, and "my apprentices" or "my nephews" by Tom Nook. I'm probably wrong, but I'm just trying to be helpful. - unsigned comment from 72.133.91.93 (talk • contribs)

As for the actual Animal Crossing games, you may be right - I can't find any mention of it either. That said, their trophy in Smash Bros Brawl does call them "Nook". Lotter (talk) 19:15, January 15, 2019 (EST)

Nice find. Also more obscurely, this 3DS nameplate's name. Not sure if these canonize it, but seems like we can stick with it since it's something...or maybe something even worth writing about in the article, how they are never referred to with a last named in the games (maybe), but that other games/products have mentioned the name. ~SuperHamster Talk 23:23, January 15, 2019 (EST)

Well, I just scoured the New Leaf, Pocket Camp, and Wild World official sites, and they are always consistently just "Timmy and Tommy". Additionally, their amiibo bio doesn't use the Nook suffix. I tried to find their "Friend" bio on PlayNintendo, but I couldn't find it with the other AC characters... Maybe tonight I'll run through a couple Amiibo Festival rounds as them to see if any Scenarios refer to them as Nook. I'm pretty sure in Pocket Camp, if you have Tom Nook at your campsite, he'll mention how T&T are running Nookling Global. I don't have his item, so can someone who did shell out the Leaf Tickets check thatThe only SP Villager I have in PC is K.K.)? I went through a couple months of amiibo Festival as Timmy and Tommy against Tom Nook last night, and in neither's Scenarios are they called Timmy and Tommy Nook, simply Timmy and Tommy or "my old proteges" by Tom Nook. 72.133.91.93 08:46, January 18, 2019 (EST) Blueflame105

Whenever I order something from the catalog in New Leaf (I'm not sure if it's Welcome amiibo specific) it says the letter is from "Timmy Nook" or "Tommy Nook". Should we update the page? 18:15, March 4, 2019 (EST)

I don't think I can do anything about it. It automattically changes to "Timmy & TommyHHDIcon..png", even if we set it so that it's "TimmyHHD.png". Can someone fix this? 12:55, July 28, 2019 (EDT)
