Justification for calling Turnips currency[edit]

In this edit, I moved most information to Stalk Market, and I also reclassified turnips from flora to currency. I don't think they can be characterized as flora since they aren't plants: they can't be planted on the player's town. The closest way this could be characterized as flora could be that they attract ants and flies, similar to rotten fruit. Calling them currency may be better than calling them flora since, just like real world shares, they are units which carry value which fluctuates through time. Inconsistent Capitalization[edit]

I have noticed that sometimes turnips are capitalised (Turnips) and sometimes they're not (turnips). This should probably be made uniform across the article (and wiki if it's an issue on other pages) but should they be capitalised? I don't think they should, can I have some opinions on this? I vote for no capitalization. They're not capitalized in-game I don't think. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 10:43, June 4, 2021 (EDT)
As an item, I think they technically should be capitalized per the current standards set forth in the Manual of Style. Looking at a similar type of item, Bells, are currently capitalized wherever they appear. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 14:22, July 8, 2021 (EDT)
