Tapirs are a species of mammal resembling pigs and elephants but are actually a close relative to horses and rhinos due to to having 3 toes on their feet. In the Animal Crossing series, introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. There is currently only one Tapir, Luna, who runs the Dream Suite in New Leaf.
