This award can be given to anyone, by anyone, for doing excellent work on the wiki. It should be given for hard work and other major contributions, such as completing a large project, settling a dispute, etc.
The award is given by placing the following on a user's talk page:

- This template automatically categorizes pages as "Recipient of the Golden Leaf Award". To avoid categorizing a given page when using this template, the optional
categorizeparameter can be used and set to false. (e.g.{{GoldenLeafAward|categorize=false|...)
