Template documentation (view)

Usage

This template adds a hatnote to an article to list other articles that have the same title in other languages.

For example, Harry goes by Bob in French, so we can use this template on top of the Bob article to redirect French users to Harry.

Parameters

name (optional)

The name of the article. Pulls {{SUBPAGENAME}} by default.

topic (optional)

The topic of the article (e.g. villager, character, furniture, etc.). Defaults to 'subject'.

lang

The language you are pointing to.

target

The target article.

lang2 (optional)

target2 (optional)

lang3 (optional)

target3 (optional)

Example

{{LangNote|name=Olivia|topic=villager|lang=Italian|target=Olive|lang2=German|target2=Deena}}

For the villager whose Italian name is Olivia, see Olive. For German, see Deena.
