Template talk:NHClothing

Given most items documented, this table creates a lot of empty space, which doesn't look very good. You think there should be a horizontal variant for this? ™ 18:28, June 12, 2020 (EDT)

SuperHamster and I had been working on a horizontal variant for some time prior to the release of the NHFurniture template and it just wasn't working quite right. Vmario has done a great job editing the template to work with other item types, but I think if we move some fields around and consolidate things we can make it look less sparse. For reference, here's a draft of a horizontal variant I was working on (it's two column on desktop, and collapses into one column on mobile). It's just tricky to have it look good and work well across the board since each page has varying level of detail. To make a good responsive design I think we'd want to redesign from the ground up. Buy/Sell and Obtained From fields now appear on the same line. The next step could be to place Style and Label Theme on the same line if and only if there ARE item variations. (Because items with no variations would show the color field next to the Style field and so Label Theme would need to be on a separate line.) (talk) 14:22, July 2, 2020 (EDT)
