Tortimer Island (stage)

Tortimer's Island is a stage based on the island in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which will make an appearance in the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros. as a stage. It was announced during the April 8th 2014 Nintendo Direct. Kapp'n, Leila and Tortimer have been chosen to appear as the background characters of the stage.

There is a small pond in the island, which cannot be seen in the game. A small wooden dock can be seen in the island where the players can stand on. There will be trees in the grassy part of the island near the bungalo, and some coconut trees can be seen near the ocean.

• The stage's layout changes whenever the players choose the stage.
  • This may be a reference on how seeds are randomly dropped when creating a new town.
• Kapp'n's boat can be seen beside the dock regularly. The players can stand on it.
