"Two Days Ago" is a melancholic song. It uses electric bass and drums, synth leads, and a mellotron. In Animal Crossing, it is one of three secret songs that can be received from K.K. Slider only by request.

Bertha (in New Horizons), Bree (before New Horizons), Dizzy (in New Horizons), Filbert (beginning in Doubutsu no Mori e+ and ending in New Leaf), Gala (in City Folk and New Leaf), Moe (in New Horizons), Olivia, Truffles (both beginning in Doubutsu no Mori e+ and ending in New Leaf) and Walker play it in their houses.

The album art for Two Days Ago features three black and white images of K.K. Slider: as a DJ, at The Roost, and with his guitar.

Trivia

• The track is a homage to the Beatles, being mostly based off "I Am the Walrus" and the bridge from "Let It Be". The instrumentation of the aircheck version, particularly the mellotron, is similar to "Strawberry Fields Forever". The title is a play on "Yesterday", the Japanese version even more so, and the album artwork is reminiscent of With the Beatles (down to using a similar label design to Parlophone, the label they belonged to up until 1968).
