Ursala (ネーヤ, Nēya) is a bear villager from the Animal Crossing series, appearing in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+. She was planned to reappear in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, but was cut from the game. She returns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf’s Welcome amiibo update, however. Her name comes from the Latin and Portuguese word "ursa", which means "bear", and female name, "Ursula."
Characteristics
Appearance
Ursala is a pink bear. She has brown hair, and has freckles too. The inside of her ears are light purple, almost lavender. She initially wears the Pastel-Stripe Tee. At first glance, she has a soft expression, giving her the look of a normal or peppy villager. In Doubutsu no Mori, her mouth is bigger, giving her an unnerving look.
Personality
In Animal Crossing
Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.
As a snooty villager, Ursala will appear uptown, classy, and chic. With this, however, she will appear rude, belittling, and snobbish when talking to the player or other villagers in the town, usually criticizing their dress sense or fashion. When talking to the player enough times, she will befriend them but still remain subtly rude. As with all snooty villagers, she has an interest in clothes over other hobbies. She will have problems socializing with other villagers, usually lazy villagers by disagreeing with their choice of lifestyle or getting offended by a jock villager, who has questioned her physical fitness.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Below is a brief description of the uchi personality. For more information, click here.
Ursala reappears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf with an uchi (or "big sister") personality, a combination of the snooty, normal, and peppy personalities. Once she becomes a close friend of the player, she will act like a big sister. She may have disputes with snooty and cranky villagers since they enjoy spreading rumors. However, she generally gets along with lazy, peppy, jock and other uchi villagers.
