We're glad that you've chosen to create an account! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Animal Crossing encyclopedia.

If you haven't yet, you're also invited to join us at our Discord icon Discord server, where you'll find other Animal Crossing fans and wiki editors.

Before you jump into editing, here are some helpful things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's editing, general use, and privacy policies.
  • Create your user page! Your user page is your own personal space to put anything you want.
  • Make effective edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't 'edit war', or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and tutorials, please see the help pages.

If you're looking for some place to start, why not check out the Community Fountain? Here you will find current events and things to do.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask a wiki staff member, or at the Community Fountain talk page. We're always happy to help! Have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Adding in ACNH pictures to villager pages[edit]

Hi Dispenser ! First of all, I would like to thank you on adding in those pictures to villager pages (like Klaus for instance). We've set a new way to display gallery pictures on villager pages. You can take a look at O'Hare's page and Gallery to understand how we want gallery pictures to be shown now on villager pages. In fact, we only use this code now {{Gallery||Renders}} after we have updated the Gallery subpage with the correct structure (again you can look at the new structure in O'Hare's Gallery subpage. It fetches the pictures sorted under Renders in the Gallery subpage and displays them automatically on the villager's page. I hope this information is clear enough, and I hope it does not demotivate you to work with other Nookipedia fans like you. We have a lot of work cut before us because we have to update every villager's page and Gallery subpage according to the new structure ! Thanks again ! --Ocre (talk) 20:10, March 23, 2020 (EDT)

Thank you for your quick answer DiSpencer. Indeed, it takes some time for the Website to clear the page's cache and replace it with to display the new code. However, I'm writing to you to tell you the staff made a small tweak to the Gallery structure yesterday evening. The Cards section has been moved from Artwork to Merchandise. You can take a look at Goldie/Gallery or O'Hare/Gallery has examples. Thanks for your contributions ! --Ocre (talk) 11:45, March 24, 2020 (EDT)
Just a quick heads-up. The staff has just produced this minute a new written guideline for the Gallery subpages. Thanks again on updating the cubs Gallery subpages.--Ocre (talk) 14:24, March 24, 2020 (EDT)
