Welcome![edit]

Welcome to Nookipedia, Kit!
Nookipedia.png
We're glad you've taken the step to create an account and edit our wiki! With an account you'll now be able to easily edit pages, participate in discussions, watch pages, track your edits, and have access to additional editing tools. You can also create and edit your own user page.

If you intend to continue editing, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's general use and editing, and privacy policies.
  • Preview your changes before saving them to avoid the need for making corrections afterwards.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes instead of undoing or reinstating changes repeatedly without discussion.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This code will automatically leave your name and a timestamp.

You can find editing tutorials and further information about our policies on the help pages.

Where to start? Check out the The Roost for the latest discussions, or consult the to-do list on the Main Page to see tasks that need to be worked on.
Questions? Feel free to ask a member of staff directly, post your question on the The Roost talk page, or ask about it on our Discord icon Discord server. We're always happy to help!
Thank you for your contributions, and have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Multiple Edits[edit]

Hello! I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this puts a large strain on our server and clogs up the recent changes. So instead of saving a lot, use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones! Thanks! --XXSuperXXNintendoXx (talk) 11:45, August 12, 2014 (EDT)

Template question[edit]

Hey Kit! I saw you removed your question about templates from the Community Fountain talk page. Do you still have any questions regarding templates? I'll be happy to help if needed. ~SuperHamster Talk 21:32, August 15, 2014 (EDT)

Welcoming users[edit]

I noticed you left a message on some one's talk page. I don't know if that was supposed to be a welcome or not, but why not use a welcome template like yours? NO VIOLINS 05:17, October 11, 2014 (EDT) You see, I don't know how. I've only started learning how to do stuff like making my own templates or something. Advice on how to do so could improve on my editing skills. Hope to hear from you soon. User:Kit

Here it is. Place {{Template:Welcome|Insert username}} on a talk page. Also, skip a line and indent your post with colons when you reply to a message. NO VIOLINS 05:44, October 12, 2014 (EDT)
